A simplistic approach to the God's Word.
The Trinity
It is the testimony of the Old and New Testaments and of this Christian Church that God is both One and Triune. The Biblical revelation testifies that there is only one God, and that He is eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, and 1 John 5:7).
God the Father.
God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things, who created the universe in love to respond to Him. He created man in His own image for fellowship, and calls man back to Himself through Christ, after the rebellion and fall of man.
The Son
Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through him all things were made. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His sacrificial death, His glorious resurrection, His exaltation, and His soon return (Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 7:26, 1 Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 28:6, 1 Corinthians 15:4, and Philippians 2:9-11).
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature and transforms him to the image of Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is subsequent to and distinct from the new birth. It endues the believer with power and is evidenced by tongues, joy, praise, and other inward and outward manifestations and gifts(Acts 1:4,8; 1 Corinthians 12; Acts 8:12-17; Hebrews 12:28; and Acts 2:42-43)
The Scripture
We believe that the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, is the verbally inspired Word of God to man and is the infallible and authoritative rule of faith and practice. It is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction and reproof (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, and 2 Peter 1:21).
The Atonement
Christ's death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, but its benefits are only applicable to those who receive Him as their personal Lord and Savior. That physical healing was provided for in the atonement of Christ and that divine healing is available through the prayer of faith (Mark 16:18, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5, and James 5:14-15).
Salvation
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus. This salvation is received through repentance and submission to Jesus as Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:8-11, and Titus 3:4-7).
The Christian Life
We believe that sanctification-the act of separation from all that defiles the flesh and spirit and of complete dedication to God and His will-is the normal life of the believer. To remain faithful through all circumstances of life requires dependence upon the Holy Spirit and a willingness to die to personal desires and passions. Therefore, all believers must sanctify themselves. Sanctification comes through the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 12:1-2, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, and Romans 6:1-11).
The Church
The church is the body of Christ-the habitation of the Spirit-and that the local church is the concrete expression of the general assembly and church of the firstborn. Every believer should become an active part of a local church and offer his/her time, talents, tithes (10% of one's income), and other resources in service to God at that local church (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:22; Hebrews 12:23, Malachi 3:10, and 1 Corinthians 12).
Baptism and the Lord's Supper
The Word of God enjoins on the Church two perpetual ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Baptism
Scripture commands baptism by immersion. It is a declaration to the world that the believer has died and risen with Christ to walk in newness of life - an outward expression of the inward work God performed. Everyone who repents and believes on Christ as Lord and Savior should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit(Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47, and Romans 6:4).
The Lord’s Supper
That the Lord's Supper (or Holy Communion) is a symbol of our union with Christ and of our partaking in His divine nature, is a memorial of His suffering and death, and is a prophecy of His second coming (2 Peter 1:4 and 1 Corinthians 11:26).
Eschatology
We affirm the bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the bodily resurrection of believers, the millennial reign of Christ, the judgment of the wicked, and the new heaven and the new earth (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51; Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27,30; Revelation 1:7, 19:11-14; Matthew 25:46; and Revelation 21:22).
